Maritime agency LITMA is the first private owned company in maritime business established in Lithuania on 10th of December 1990.
After its establishment JSC LITMA in short time managed to win the recognition of its customers by a high quality performance. In the beginning of 1991 LITMA obtained nominations for its first vessels and in 1992 the company expedited the first cargo. Passengers transportations by sea via port of Klaipeda is the first goal achieved by "the young" LITMA. Company was the first in the history of its country opening private owned RO-RO shipping line Kiel - Klaipeda soon after the first shipping line connecting Mediterranean region was opened. Both lines act successfully and these days.
Presently Litma company acts as an official agent of Ocean container line Hanjin Shipping as well as offers forwarding service for all transport means including transportation of refrigerated, dangerous and over-dimension cargoes.
